Listening to a PODCAST yesterday they talked to several reporters and asked how they would have handed the security breach if they would have been included in the text / email exchange. Most said they would have kept their mouth shut provided a couple of folks on the exchange would have given them an exclusive interview or scoop on some related item. they felt the exposure of the information by Goldberg and the Atlantic would be less beneficial to them in the long run than keeping the story quiet and getting a number of exclusive interviews. That was the consensus, thought that was interesting. Group eluded to fact that getting a chance to take a shot at Trump's team was too appetizing for Goldberg than putting an IOU in his pocket and using it later.

Absurd. This biggest story of 2025 and a possible breach of classified data through a messaging app and they’d bury the story?

I don’t believe them and, if taken at their word, they’re completely unethical. That’s blackmail, BTW. Also a crime.

The spin on this one is crazy.

The biggest anti-Trump story to date in 2025. Since it caused no harm or issues its simply a total embarrassment to folks involved as it should be. Get their house in order and drive on. At this point the mission was a success, they should count their luck stars it was.

The biggest story thus far by far is complete shutting down of the boarder, that has been impressive, quick and decisive.

Hopefully that will get Trumped by soon to be end of the Russian / Ukraine war. Hopeful on that one by end of summer.

My hope for the biggest story of the year is a functioning budget passed by the Pubs that is close to being balanced. I'm skeptical of this one but that is my biggest hope.

Nobody said anything about blackmail, perhaps a quid-pro-quo, ie I get a 1 on 1 with Trump or another cabinet member for raising my hand and saying don't think I should be in this text exchange. I've done that before on a business text and was rewarded for raising my hand and deleting it.

We have one side spinning like its the worst security breach in world (successful mission(, another saying its not a big deal. (really, communicate over secure lines and verify who is in the conversation) I say its a big deal but easily correctable and it was a completely successful mission. Glad they got caught so they can clean up their act.

Well, just bring up Biden’s retreat from Afghanistan. $8.2 billion left behind.

You knew the Dems would jump all over it. It’s all they have. Lol

Lol. No. People tweeting that it was not classified does not make it so.

Trump literally said a few hours ago that he wasn’t sure.

By any following of the official guidebook, imminent attack plans are highly classified. Thank god none of our men and women got shot down.

In any normal admin., there would already be a major FBI investigation into this and a report sent to Congress.

They would decide if the data was or wa not classified as for the rules of classification.

Of course, that will not happen here. Because Kash Patel.

Not calling you out, but if anyone sees any of the congressional hearings, the cabinet looks terrible. Just lying non stop. Gabbard said the data wa not classified because it had not been marked as classified by the NSC!! Lololol. What??
