Who could have known that Hegseth might not be a great choice for SOD? Well, just about everyone. He doesn't have a single professional achievement that would make him a viable candidate. But that's not all.
After fielding multiple questions during his confirmation about reported issues with drinking, he promised he would stop drinking if confirmed. He then proceeded to hit his cocktail multiple times during his first NATO press conference. He didn't even bother to hide it.
So just some rando loser on X assumes that it was an alcoholic beverage and not water? I understand that you guys are desperate for anything to distract from how badly the country hates the Dems, but this is hilarious.
Did you watch the video? It's brown liquid in a lowball glass. Could it be ginger ale? I guess, but given the many, many reports of Hegseth having an issue with alcohol, its entirely fair to question what looks to the rest of the world like a cocktail.

This group screwed up and firings may be warranted but at this point it appears to be recklessness instead of an intentional and ongoing action with criminal intent. Of course I don't expect the President to share everything they know - some details are classified. But we're talking about Trump lying and saying he didn't know about the report - it's worse if that is the truth and he doesn't know what is going on (not that it would surprise me). It would seem you believe Trump lied because you brought up Biden lying.
Unintentional is not an excuse for being incompetent and that's an important question as there is a lack of experience in some of these people. Waltz can't control all these people so it's not up to him that something similar won't happen again. And back to Biden again - which is still irrelevant. Watergate? I have no idea where that came from. I started this off asking what was the truth, but you turn it into "fake outrage" whatever that is.

Yes, it seems like I could post about Trump everyday the way he has been going, but have started very few threads. If I agree with a post then it's very likely I will give it a like. Isn't that what we're supposed to do? I don't go for labels but can't stop others.
I am not sorry I voted against Trump. I didn't think he should have been reelected in 2020. I was very concerned about him becoming President again fearing the worst. He has been in office a very short time and, in total, it's been a disaster. Right now nothing gives me hope that he will change. He is trying to grab all the power he can whether it's legal or not. Today it's trying to change voting rules which he doesn't have the right to do. I have no problem with requiring citizenship, but he just wants to make it harder for people to vote which shouldn't be a goal. Not enough people vote and more should be encouraged to do so.
