Austin went missing twice, for several days each time, without informing the Commander-in-Chief.

I will ask you a basic question about the classified docs issue. Which do you prefer? A president that has them locked up in his home, like Obama, Clinton and Trump. Or Biden who had them on his coffee table and in the console of his corvette. Which his crackhead son drove often.

Only a president can declassify them. And how or when he does that is highly debated. Some say he can literally think they are declassified and it is ok. I don’t prescribe to that, but it is that broad a power that is debated. A senator or vp has no power to declassify anything. So Biden having them in his home for over 20 years is a little crazy. Especially when you consider his family got rich off using his name for influence.

I think we’re making some progress. We both now admit that Trump took classified documents from the White House. Now the next question is, why did he not give them back when the FBI asked for them?

Wow. I stated it already. He took them the same way every other president has done so. They have an ego and they want a memento from their time in the white house. They all did and not all did the same way. There have been other requests to have some returned and the all were handled in a totally different manner. Trump was treated as a criminal and the left tried to make into something that would keep him from being a candidate in the future. Many of what was deemed classified would not really need to be classified after several years. Rarely do they declassify them unless there is a reason. So I do not think it should necessarily be a felony. Some might warrant that and some might not.
Just like the case in NY with his loans and valuations associated with the properties he owns. Everyone who is wanting a loan will use valuations on the higher end and lenders might value them on the lower end. The responsibility to determine whether the valuations are correct lies with the lender. They had no problem with the valuations and this never should have gone to trial. Both were politically motivated and yes Trump should have handled it better than he did.

But the guy who claims “no new wars” because he’s so tough will absolutely have to admit that was made up if China invades.

But our government is getting ripped off by military contractors and are fully unprepared for war. We can’t even make our own ships anymore. Crazy. Both R and D are responsible for that.

California did it to themselves with legislation state and federal that stopped timber sales and fuel projects that kept forests healthy and had meltdowns where we removed the brush from the ridgetops and planted grass to break the heavy fuels.
When the Chamise/manzanita fuel types start burning with high winds behind them; it generally takes an act of God to stop it.
I may be hard, but I just have a hard time being too sympathetic to people that build homes in the middle of the most explosive fuels in the U.S., most of the time not leaving any defensible space around the dwelling.
