Power went out here in Saint Louis this past Friday evening. The weather was awful, winds up to 80 mph. Two tornados touched down causing some destruction around us. I believe they said around 100 tornados total were spotted. 12 deaths have been reported so far in Missouri.
Fortunately, our house was spared. The power just got turned on at my house about 30 minutes ago. Tough to go that long without power - but took my own advice & “sucked it up”.
All food in both fridges will be tossed. But just happy that lives were spared, house is intact and power & internet is back on - and happier than a pig in slop.
Nonetheless, thought those that GAS would want to know. Those that DGAS, just remember - I didn’t GAS first.
What away to spend our 30th anniversary, plans had to be canceled.
Y’all stay safe out there….life can be lost in a flash.
