Think over your logic next time before you post.I think Fuente's record as HC is 22-22 after today's win.
Let's not get carried away by half a season's success.

Now this isn't a "half a season's success...he took over a team that won 11 games in 3 seasons...and now has the 3rd longest winning streak of any team in the country, dating back to part way through last year. He's doubled the win total in less time. He's only 39 as well from what i understand...heckuva lot of positives...plus, he gets more out his players than their star level...we're lucky to get the star level, but never more anymore.
So a guy with 1 year, versus a guy who has shown he can build a program. Fuente was pretty damn good as QB then OC at TCU.
I believe SC will approach Fuente, Smart, Herman and the guy at Toledo.
They'd be smart, IMO, to target them in a slightly different order. No offense to Kirby, but go with a guy with HC experience first and foremost.
Kirby would be a hr recruiter though, and he'd raid the piss out of Georgia.
I think I'd go Herman, Smart, and maybe Fuente. Then again Kirby might get my first call.
He might be. He'd be selling something he's never had to sell to recruits before though. He'd have to sell heavily on belief in Kirby Smart...and that's it. Couldn't sell potential as he's never been a HC, so it would be selling in believing what he could do. He wouldn't have the Bama or LSU mystique and tradition to sell, nor playing for Saban. I always believe you should find a guy who has done it before. I'd call Willingham first, Fuente, Herman, then possibly Toledo guy before Smart.
I find it funny that you wrongly state Fuente shouldn't get call over herman and use the 1/2 year of success, when that is literally all Herman has had, where as Fuente has the 3rd longest winning streak in the country. You quote his work at Ohio State, but both were top notch coordinators at very good teams (generally most are, pretty rare to find someone who wasn't damn good at coordinator being a head coach)
