You can say more outlandish things when 90 percent of the media is behind you and will acquiesce to missteps ,..why commit to being sharp and digging in on policy when you have so much cover from the media (and power brokers),..and avoid any reporter or interview who would pry,...and if they did pry, they are racist,...under those circumstances it's like playing a baseball game were one team has a strike zone the size of a Volkswagen,..and the other team a strike zone the size of an apple,...and still she is the underdog,..it creates a lazy dem candidate by default who has been given things because she is an empty vessel to the program because of a decade of loyalty,... Professional Dems must know extincually (by now) that the road to power in the party is by gaining the acceptance of the dem power brokers,..the other forces, such as the people,.are of minor considerations,..but worthwhile to a small degree to sway affectations
