IMO, Kirby is going to put massive pressure (stunts) on ND’s OL, takeaway their running game, and manage field position to allow Gunner to run the offense. Be patient. The film is showing a big advantage for the Dawgs in the trenches and there should be no reason to put our rookie QB in too many high stakes situations. This board has been overly optimistic on Gunner’s experience and I’m thinking that we’ll gladly manage a lower scoring game dominated by the Junkyard Defense and Etienne running the ball.
