Jesus. Musk’s net worth is down 30 percent since Trump became President. The worst thing he could have done from a net worth standpoint was align with Trump. Elimination of EV mandates. Tariffs on China. These are terrible things for Tesla stock price….,which is far and away what drives Elon’s wealth.
It also so happens that the most cutting edge technology that can literally help the world on a large scale is owned and was developed by Companies Musk runs. Dude is a genius. But hey let’s let Ford run our FAA…..because….Trump.

Heavy tariffs on Chinese EVs are the only way Tesla is going to be able to compete over the next five years.
People have scoffed, but I’m telling you the first wave of Chinese EVs in this country are going to blow Tesla out of the water. They provide a totally different level of performance and luxury for the price.
Trump has said the same. Unchecked, flooding the US with Chinese cars would smoke the entire auto industry. I think Biden would have prevented that specific outcome as well. What Trump’s broad stance on China will do is provide incentive for China to retaliate with additional tariffs on US cars….and China is a huge market for Tesla

When I climbed into the old tower at ATL, I never saw so much equipment packed into a small space. Pretty sure it was tube technology or maybe both tube and transistor. The “planes” were little lines of paper on wooden holders on the controllers work space, stacked in a row. When the plane landed, the controller would throw away the paper and recycle the holder. (The new tower was definitely I remember visiting, but I was focused on looking out at the planes.)

The FAA realized the system was antiquated, that is why they decided to make significant improvements. They awarded the contract to Verizon for the upgrade, and Verizon is just about to implement the changes. Musk is insinuating that Verizon is responsible for the old system so he can get the contract cancelled and awarded to SpaceX.
