Getting the kids together and having them infected at the same time is what neighborhoods used to do.

That was a common practice. Of course, Mom’s were home and didn’t send their children to school sick like they do now.

You must be really young if you don’t understand how it used to be done.

Before the measles vaccine was available in 1963, almost all children got measles by age 15. And neighborhoods wanted it done at one time.

PW - Right on. Had everything in the early 60s. Measles, Mumps, Chicken Pox and German Measles. Have great immunity and rarely sick.
