Last week, Thomas County Central was headed to Marist in the state semis. They needed a place to have a walk through. So they called GT and asked if they could use their facility. Early in the week GT agreed and so the coaches planned accordingly. On Thursday from what I’m told, GT let them know they couldn’t do it because of “compliance issues.” That may be true but they should have known that from the start. Instead they left a coaching staff scrambling that has a team full of D1 athletes. This just shows the importance of attention to detail to maintain good relationships. I’m confident UGA would have handled that much better.
