Kennesaw State has really fallen off from where they were a few years back... looking at them a little bit earlier this week, I didn't think we'd have a ton of trouble up there, but you know never know... and they typically play us tough.
We're going to win every game where we score 11 runs in an inning and we're going to put up a huge number any time they walk us 5 times and hit us 4 more times, or whatever the final tally was. Kinda like that last inning on Sunday, we'll push some runs across with three walks and an error. Beyond that, the best part of last night, for me, was the bullpen tossing up so many zeros. After this weekend, that's huge for those guys. I think we all feel a little bit different if we'd won that game 14-9 instead of 14-4...
Nice to collect another W and there's no reason we shouldn't beat those guys in Athens in a few weeks. I am kinda surprised that Kennesaw State hasn't been able to build off that super regional run any better than they have. It's been a pretty clear regression for them each year since then.
Charlotte looks like an interesting series.... they're coming in 3-1 and played NC State very close last night...
