I agree with this asusming the election was held today. Pretty good logic and data-supported opinion. The consistency in polls always under-estimating the Trump actual versus polls on election day is something I've always argued. They didn't adjust after the shocking result in 2016. Biden was polling 9 pts ahead of Trump on election day last year. He won by 4.5 in the popular vote, but razor thin on the swing states.

Lots of time between now and then. Will Biden be the candidate, especially if he pulls an angry old man routine Thursday (I think he won't - he's got a pretty good history of pulling his shit together when it matters most)? Will Trump shift the polling significantly if he eff's up in the debate, like he did in 2020?
