Our biggest enemy of reducing these incidents (some equate them to natural disasters or cracks in the structure) is our insistence on taking extreme positions on it as we also do on most other issues.

Dang, folks! Why can’t we AT LEAST get and keep deadly weapons OUT of the hands of freaking, loonie tunes??

There Is a HUGE middle ground on the gun violence (all types) issue. Universal background check should be the easiest one to accept by ALL of us, unless we have something illegal or very unseemly to hide. There should be no way those two most recent, idiot wastes of space should have owned or even had access to guns of any type.

Cops were called to the home of the Florida HS killer, but nothing could be done per above because of our shlitz for brains guidelines & law enforcement restrictions on the books. We’ve made seeing criminals as co-victims a freaking art form.

And we dare wonder why “blaming the guns” gets NO traction. Will the adults in the room PLEASE stand up?

Amen. I've been preaching against the polarization of this country but I just can't see it changing. There is a HUGE middle ground that both sides refuse to move towards on many issues.
