There is a thread on the college football subreddit that asked “what teams in CFB history do you think were significantly better or worse than their records indicate.” Obviously, 2015 Georgia is up there because that was the worse 10 win team ever.
In that season, we:
- got obliterated against Alabama 38-10
- choked the Tennessee game away, Reggie Davis had that terrible drop, also had the Chubb injury, and lost 38-31
- beat Mizzou 9-6, not much to say here
- lost to Florida 27-3 in what was one of the most non competitive game we have played in Jacksonville it seems
- took a Ricardo Davis fumble and an Isaiah McKenize return to beat 6-6 Auburn 20-13
- took a miracle to beat Georgia Southern 23-17 in overtime
- and then the most boring Tech game ever winning 13-7
Has there been a season with collection of more bad games? Bad games as in, I don’t ever want to rewatch this. Or blocking out of memory. Even in the wins, the season sucked.
