A backup freshman QB comes in the game today and takes Ole Miss down the field for a tying td. A third string QB from Yale comes in for the gators and gives us a scare. Yet, we don’t have a backup QB that we have enough confidence in to bench Beck. Either, we are doing a lousy job of evaluating QBs during recruiting or we are doing a lousy job of developing QBs once they come into the program. Beck’s demeanor on and off the field has permeated the whole team.
