- Rivals100 defensive end Shemar Stewart confirmed to me that he will take an official visit to Georgia on January 21st weekend. He will only take two more official visits and that will be the Bulldogs and Miami on the 28th. Texas A&M had all the momentum here but I have heard a lot more Miami smoke down here in Orlando. I think that is the team to watch. Tray Scott is the main guy for Stewart but Georgia has also talked with him about standing up while also playing with his hand in the dirt.
In my opinion, Georgia is running in third right now. Have some ground to make up but there is a need at the position and never doubt Kirby Smart in recruiting. Would project Miami as of today.
- Rivals100 safety Jacoby Matthews does not have Georgia as a finalist moving into January. Texas A&M was the school here, but I have heard LSU is the school that has made a big move here. It would surprise me to see him pick any other school than LSU at this point.
