Anyone had any experience with using the selling agent as your buying agent as well? My wife and I are going to look at a house today. If we like and inspection comes back clear, we plan on putting in an offer. The listing agent owns the home. We're thinking that we could offer a little less than planned because the listing agent would not have to a pay the buying agent's commission. Experts, what do you think? Is this smart or dumb?
