Or if he dropped out and agreed to a Rubio/Trump ticket the R's win. If he dropped out and endorses Cruz or accepts Cruz/Trump then Hillary is a guarantee 8 year president. Trump is the most powerful man in America right now and he holds most, not all the cards as he can't make himself president but he is the king maker.

Trump is the most powerful man in the Republican party, a very small minority of the American electorate. The majority of Americans do not take Trump seriously. He is a combination of P.T. Barnum and George Wallace.

You are deluded by the right wing propaganda you consume, so let me clue you in to some reality: NONE of the current Republican presidential candidates have a snowball's chance in Hell of being elected president. Many of your more intelligent Konservativ Kolleagues will vote for Bernie Sanders over the likes of Rubio, Cruz, etc., because even though they disagree with Sanders' politics, they know at least Sanders is telling the truth.

You are both wrong. A vote for Trump is not a vote for Trump. It's a vote against all established career politicians...democrat or republican. American people that actually pay taxes are sick of both of them.

If Rubio and all of the other GOP candidates would get behind Trump then Republicans would win next year

IF they are true Republicans then certainly they should support the candidate that our primary voters choose to represent
our party just as they insist that Trump should do.

Hopefully our party has learned what happens when we nominate the republican candidate that the leftwing media and liberals say
we should....the most "acceptable" GOP candidate to liberals......sure losers in a general election like McCain and Romney.

Absolutely brilliant! Although I am not wrong. I would never vote for Donald Trump unless the choice is he or Sanders. I make a simple statement of fact as I peruse it to be. National polls show Rubio beating Hillary handily. Her beating Trump just as handily. Trump leading the R's polls.

Therefore he can't win the presidency. Hillary can only win the presidency if her opponent is not Rubio. Trump can step aside and endorse either Cruz or Rubio the R choice. Cruz she wins, Rubio he wins. He can't win but he can determine the winner. If he stays in the race who knows. I think Cruz is trying to be his running mate (undercard). That too is a loser. The only winners possible are Clinton or Rubio.

The only one they fear is Rubio. They attack Trump trying to hang his sometime out there statements on the Republicans as a whole which they have been able to do with an in their pocket press. Their wet dream is Hillary vs Trump. Or Hillary vs Cruz.

Don't kid yourself, the only people who have lost touch with reality are democrats and establishment republicans. Trump can and likely will win the nomination and election. I foresee a Trump/Cruz ticket that wins handily over the lying sack of shitte the Democrats are parading around. Their will be a lot of everyday, working class democrats vote Trump... Same idiot thinkers thought Reagan could not win either over another idiot Democrat President.

He would never agree to a Rubio ticket maybe Cruz .

Bill Bennett's recent take on Trump candidacy:
They will kill him before they let him be president. It could be a Republican or a Democrat that instigates the shutting up of Trump. Don't be surprised if Trump has an accident. Some people are getting very nervous: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine, to name just a few. It's about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it’s in all of their interests to protect one another. It’s one for all and all for one. It’s a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich — everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of Americahas been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened like never before.

Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart. It’s no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The Donald. It’s because most of the other politicians are part of the “old boys club.” They talk big, but they won’t change a thing. They are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations, and multinational corporations . . . like Big Pharma or Big Oil. Or they are owned lock, stock and barrel by foreigners, like George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary with theirClintonFoundation donations.
These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there’s one man who isn’t beholden to anyone. There’s one man who doesn’t need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teachers’ union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund his campaign. Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help. That means he doesn’t care what the media says. He doesn’t care what the corporate elites think. That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests. That makes Trump a huge threat to those people. Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.
Don’t you ever wonder why the GOP has never tried to impeach Obama? Don’t you wonder why John Boehner and Mitch McConnell talk a big game, but never actually try to stop Obama? Don’t you wonder why Congress holds the purse strings, yet has never tried to defund Obamacare or Obama’s clearly illegal executive action on amnesty for illegal aliens? Bizarre, right? It defies logic, right? First, I’d guess many key Republicans are being bribed. Secondly, I believe many key Republicans are being blackmailed. Whether they are having affairs, or secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency knows everything.
Ask former House Speaker Dennis Hastert about that. The government even knew he was withdrawing large sums of his own money from his own bank account. The NSA, the SEC, the IRS, and all the other three-letter government agencies are watching every Republican political leader. They surveil everything. Thirdly, many Republicans are petrified of being called “racists” . . . so they are scared to ever criticize Obama or call out his crimes, let alone demand his impeachment. Fourth , why rock the boat? After defeat or retirement, if you’re a “good boy,” you’ve got a $5 million-per-year lobbying job waiting. The big-money interests have the system gamed. Win or lose, they win.
But Trump doesn’t play by any of these rules. Trump breaks up this nice, cozy relationship between big government, big media, and big business. All the rules are out the window if Trump wins the Presidency. The other politicians will protect Obama and his aides — but not Trump. Remember: Trump is the guy who publicly questioned Obama’s birth certificate. He questioned Obama’s college records and how a mediocre student got into an Ivy League university. Now, he’s doing something no Republican has the chutzpah to do. He’s questioning our relationship with Mexico; he’s questioning why the border is wide open; he’s questioning why no wall has been built across the border; he’s questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in our best interests; he’s questioning why so many illegal aliens commit violent crimes, yet are not deported; and he’s questioning why our trade deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.
Trump has the audacity to ask out loud why American workers always get the short end of the stick. Good question! I’m certain Trump will question what happened to the almost billion dollars given in a rigged no-bid contract to college friends of Michelle Obama at foreign companies to build the defective Obamacare website. By the way, that tab is now up to $5 billion. Trump will ask if Obamacare’s architects can be charged with fraud for selling it by lying. Trump will investigate Obama’s widespread IRS conspiracy, not to mention Obama’s college records. Trump will prosecute Clintonand Obama for fraud committed to cover upBenghazibefore the election. How about the fraud committed by employees of the Labor Department when they made up dramatic job numbers in the last jobs report before the 2012 election?
Obama, the multinational corporations, and the media need to stop Trump. They recognize this could get out of control . If left unchecked, telling the raw truth and asking questions everyone else is afraid to ask, Trump could wake a sleeping giant. Trump’s election would be a nightmare. Obama has committed many crimes. No one else but Trump would dare to prosecute. He will not hesitate. Once Trump gets in and gets a look at “the cooked books” and Obama’s records, the game is over. The gig is up. The goose is cooked. Holder could wind up in prison. Jarrett could wind up in prison. Obama bundler Corzine could wind up in prison for losing $1.5 billion of customer money. Clintoncould wind up in jail for deleting 32,000 emails, or for accepting bribes from foreign governments while Secretary of State, or for “misplacing” $6 billion as the head of the State Department, or for lying about Benghazi. The entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison.
Obamacare will be defunded and dismantled. And Obama himself could wind up ruined, his legacy in tatters. Trump will investigate. Trump will prosecute. Trump will go after everyone involved. That’s why the dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump. Yes, it’s become open season on Donald Trump. The left and the right are determined to attack his policies, harm his businesses, and, if possible, even keep him out of the coming debates. But they can’t silence him. And they sure can’t intimidate him. The more they try, the more the public will realize that he’s the one telling the truth.

As a conservative who had Bernie as my senator when living in VT...the guy who said a conservative would vote for Bernie....drugs or idiocy...probably both.

I listen to Konservative Kolleagues at work and they say if Sanders is the nominee against Cruz, Rubio, Trump, or Carson, they would vote for Sanders even though they disagree with his policies, because Sanders "tells the truth".

Think maybe your fibulator has activated. No conservative is gonna vote for a communist, particularly a pervert, over any of those guys. I guess ole looney Bernie might tell his version of "the truth" when it's convenient as most pols are want to do but THE TRUTH is something he likely is not that familiar with.

Well, the Konservativ Kolleagues I listen to are senior military officers who have at least a masters' degree, so it's not like I'm quoting woolhat Georgia rednecks. Your mileage will vary, of course.

I'm an instructor at JFSC in Norfolk, VA and that is exactly what I've heard from students and fellow faculty who identify as Konservative. A very large majority of the country does not share the views of unreconstructed confederate wannabes like yourself.

You are not making sense. Why in the hell would military minds vote for a communist? You have crossed the line with that bs logic. If you love capitalism it does not mean you are a knuckle dragging inbred northerner or an a southerner.

Hearing voices is fairly common. On the other hand there are some strange people about. Perhaps you know some. Occasionally drink coffee with a group of retired vets, all conservative except for the one who drives around in a 20-25 year old pickup with the only B Sanders sticker I've seen. Bout a $500, maybe 750 ride. Rents a trailer from one of the other guys in his rental park. Went to school @ GT and has a large yellow jacket on driver's door. Claims to have been a LT Col. We call him Go Getter. Wife is an oriental gal who supports him and whom he has working at one of those nail parlors. She has no car so he takes her to work but she catches a ride home with one of the other ladies except on Friday payday. When he goes and gets her. He's harmless but always broke. Rants and raves a lot.

BTW rednecks are commonly farmers whose necks get too much sun. Mostly in Georgia they would work in the south of the state where many if not most are wealthy and run sophisticated multi thousand acre operations. Tons of UGA alums and big contributors. None would be wearing any hats made of wool. LOL! See a lot of younger minorities with those.

Bullshi+ that Trump can't be the next President. All Trump needs to do to become the next President is what he has been doing.

Explaining to the American people of how broken and corrupt everything is and how we need to fundamentally change the way our country operates. This fundamental change is diametrically opposed to the fundamental change sought by the current Soviet regime.

The rest of the Republican party are just a bunch of big government weenies as well. There is little to no difference between the vast majority of the eGOP and the Socialist/Democratic party.

Everything on both sides of the aisle are for bigger and more intrusive government. Government that can't get out of its' own way when it comes to fiscal restraint, protecting our borders and citizens and the feeling by those in D.C. that they have the power to trample over whatever few rights we still (believe) we have.

Many of us (all stripes) are deluded by "consuming" ONLY what agrees with our personal set of sensibilities. MOST of us, if we are truly honest with ourselves, despise "politics as usual" in our nation's capitol. Regardless of one's source of information or choice in "news" outlets, it has become painfully obvious for anyone who listens or reads can now recognize the pattern of repetition (saying lots, but doing little) on BOTH sides of the aisle. The reality is that Trump, as foul and repulsive as he may be or pretend to be, is a creation of us by us. At this point there would be a massive swell of support for ANYONE, who can form a sentence and mange a concept or two to be favored over "career politicians," who more than anyone or anything represent everything that is wrong and has been wrong with "our system" for them by them for 60+ years in this country. It is truly time for actual CHANGE, not just platitudes and recycled horse manure by the truckloads. I have no confidence we will see it, but its nice for "a change" for more than a few of us to show that we care enough to demand actual change in the way our political system actually works......especially the elections themselves, which has become 90% of what our politicians do anymore. They spend more time and effort getting elected and reelected than they do working on projects and writing bills and laws that will make ALL of our lives a bit better year by year, decade by decade. Many of us are so addicted to "spin," that we cannot recognize truth (the whole truth) anymore. Shame on all of us.

Well you would recognize one ( a cool story). I think it is pretty obvious to most posters here that certain elements get a little careless and reckless with the truth. And maybe even harbor a grudge or two. But hey, it's the internet right? And if a poster can make themselves feel vindicated and whole posting BS then the mores the merrier.

Bernie Sanders tells "the truth," whatever that is, 63% of the time according to "Politi-Fact," the brainchild of a proudly liberal newspaper. They don't review everything every political leader or candidate says (imagine that).

What should really burn us up is the fact that Bernie's 63 is 15 points ahead of any other candidate's "truthfulness. ANY other candidate based on SELECTIVE quotes.

Whether his version of "truth" should be considered the "whole truth" can surely be questioned, but he seems to be more honest than most of his counterparts. Being misguided has nothing to do with honesty or a particular brand of "truth." We the people are charged with trying to guess who to trust based on what they choose to say in public along with how their words are framed by our "truth" seeking media, who decide which words fit their vision of the world as they would like to see it. So, ultimately it's all on us.

He is honest in regards to where he stands, he is upfront that he is a socialist...no wait...he understood that socialism might not sell, but he's labeled himself a socialist since his days in Burlington, so he coined a new term, "democratic socialist." Go back and looks at some of his VT public access shows....if this guy is President...Oh God.....

Sanders looks like a damn Wal Mart greeter. There's no way he or Hiltery make it to the White House.
