AOTD

asshole-award__86156.1464722406.380.380.jpg

Don Lemon is a leftwing conspiracy theorist and CNN anchor noted for his on-air hate speech and racism…….Lemon, a self-identified homosexual, has repeatedly made racially disparaging comments about men, both African American and white, the majority of which are heterosexual……He has or had sexual assault allegation charges against him pending……

Greg Jarrett, lawyer, author, anchor, called Lemon a pompous pretentious jerk…….That’s my thoughts, but I would substitute @$$Hole for jerk…….Some comments others have made about TV’s sourest one:

Don Lemon is a jerk who won't let anyone he doesn't agree with speak without talking all over them, and then accusing them of doing what HE just did!......He’s a pompous arrogant snowflake…….

CNN might want to replace Don Lemon; he has lost his mind……He has become so bias that he can no longer report……

Don Lemon is an idiot……The media incites violence and they have blood all over their filthy hands…….

Don Lemon lies never tells the truth. I see this happening day by day and I can't listen to him ever again. Leaving CNN……

Don Lemon is a race baiter pure and simple; him and Bubba Smollett should get a room…….

Don Lemon likes to stir the pot…….He needs to report facts, not his opinion…….I don’t care what the media thinks……And twisting facts is not good journalism………He and Cuomo need to go……..Cuomo is a fraud…….The COVID incident was the last straw……I’m done with CNN…….

Tim-Malone-and-Don-Lemon.jpg

There was even a petition, sponsored by and promoted by Afro-Americans, calling for his firing by CNN…….

And finally (even though I’ve just barely mentioned his AOTD actions) look at his CNN TV Show ratings vs other CNN TV Show Ratings…….He’s sixth among CNN’s News Programs……That ain’t indicating too much good stuff coming from Lemon’s program…..Sixth best among other CNN News Programs?.....lol……

All those folks with comments above can’t be wrong, and there’s 10K more where those come from……Enough……Step up on the podium Don Lemon, put that crown of shame on your egotistical and arrogant head…..I now anoint you Don Lemon the AOTD….and one other thing Don, you can KMA too…..

HAPPY TRAILS FOLKS

1959 Meldrim trestle disaster; freight train derails over Ogeechee River in Georgia causing IPG tanks to explode killing 23

That was the worst industrial disaster in Chatham County history. I have canoed under that trestle a number of times after putting in at Dasher’s Landing on Highway 80. Maneuvering under the trestle can be tricky, as the Ogeechee current cuts through it at an angle. It can be treacherous at high water. There’s a sand bar on the southeast side where we usually take a paddle break and swim. I once saw a six-foot Altamaha Sturgeon thrashing in the shallows there. It was a frightening looking thing, like a dinosaur fish.

I'm too old now to enjoy it anymore, but catching red bellies from the Ogeechee River were my favorite fishing trips.......Good Lord though you had to fight off the cottonmouths to fish sometimes.......big and mean @$$ snakes.........I never got further south on the Ogeechee than Screven/Bulloch Counties in the Rocky Ford area.......The rewards are sometimes breath-taking, seeing those bright red bellies coming out of those black waters.......Always wanted to fish the Ogeechee in the I-16 area......beautiful water there......
