Aparently, today is the deadline for officially withdrawing someone from the ticket, so the timing is interesting.

In the last few weeks, NC has gone from an afterthought to in-play and critical for Trump to win in November. Robinson’s presence on the ticket does not help Trump, so I’ve seen the suggestion that state GOP leaders are behind the release and timing of the story.

If so, they didn’t give themselves much margin for error.

Agreed, I think the GOP leaked this story and to get Robinson to drop out. Wouldn't be surprised if this is an Auburn Bryan Harsin situation. But also wouldn't be surprised if this is all 100% true considering his past comments. That's what the GOP gets for picking a DEI candidate😏

Also Robinson was the main reason I thought Harrie would carry NC so will be interesting to see if he does drop out and if so, how does that affect the NC Governors race and Harris/Trump

Mark Robinson is a classic MAGA candidate. An extreme nutter who would be happy with a full Christian theocracy with men voting and women making dinner. He’s a freak and I hope he stays on the tickets.

under federal law, the deadline is tomorrow, which is the date that the already printed ballots will be sent to service members overseas, etc. but important to note that the courts have intervened before.

no one knows anything about this, except that he's a scumbag many times over. Whatever this is is just more proof of it...

I had a little debate with someone here about the current slate of national black Republicans and they're all grifters...everyone of them. MAGA so wants to find that holy grail, a black republican that will break the damn of black support swinging to the GOP, that they let this trash in their party to speak for them. There were many life long and actual principled conservatives that the GOP ran out of the party in favor for people like Robinson, Daniels, Scott and Owens.

I get tired of these people who would know but want to remain anonymous with no story leaks, on both sides of the aisle. Link the story when you have it.

Not perfect by any means but at least we don’t support killing babies and transgendering young kids w/o parental approval. I can’t think of 2 more reprehensible acts that are not only approved by Dems but encouraged.

Based on the article I read, it sounds like transgendering young kids would be something Mark Robinson is into.

Not supporting him at all, have no idea what kind of man he is. Just think there’s a lot of hypocritical folks on here that turn a blind eye to the things the left approve of but seem to want to condemn others for the same thing if they’re of the other party.

I don’t remember many Dem politicians constantly talking about God, the will of God, the need to return God to the center of our politics, the role of God in their political choices or otherwise constantly beating us over the head with their religious views. It’s why, when a hypocrite like Robinson gets exposed, he gets called out for it.
