Aparently, today is the deadline for officially withdrawing someone from the ticket, so the timing is interesting.

In the last few weeks, NC has gone from an afterthought to in-play and critical for Trump to win in November. Robinson’s presence on the ticket does not help Trump, so I’ve seen the suggestion that state GOP leaders are behind the release and timing of the story.

If so, they didn’t give themselves much margin for error.

under federal law, the deadline is tomorrow, which is the date that the already printed ballots will be sent to service members overseas, etc. but important to note that the courts have intervened before.

There were many life long and actual principled conservatives that the GOP ran out of the party in favor for people like Robinson, Daniels, Scott and Owens.

I don’t remember many Dem politicians constantly talking about God, the will of God, the need to return God to the center of our politics, the role of God in their political choices or otherwise constantly beating us over the head with their religious views.
