You can say he's a career politician like a big majority of them up there. They were elected by voters continually putting them back in office. Used to be, you had to keep them because of seniority on different committees that benefit their state. Like Sam Nunn. Thought he was a fair politician AND he could keep the bases in GA open here in GA and did, on senate armed services committee. In south GA Sanford Bishop has been up there for years and years now because of his position on the Agriculture committee.

You may not like Biden's politics. But that's politics. He's a decent, fine human being. Anybody widowed so young and then commute daily from DC to Delaware to take care of their kids till grown, is a fine man. He's not the only one up there with those qualities, some I agree with their policy, others I don't. Being a decent human being doesn't seem to be a good trait anymore when it comes to politics. Frankly, am tired of the politics of personal destruction.Which is exactly what's about to happen to Trump. See Romney. So far, with so many in the race, his personal past, etc has been ignored. It will be full blown now and by the GOP. But.......Trump started all that himself.

With that said, would I vote for Biden? Depends on the alternative. All of them. On both sides.

I can see Biden maybe stepping in at the convention Especially with the way Dems do Super delegates. They can commit now, but change their minds. At convention, the delegates elected only have to vote as elected on a first ballot. I also can see it happening at Repub convention as well. There's still a long time and a lot of lives to destroy first.
