@Radi Nabulsi reporting UGA's potential use of 'buy-outs' on NIL should the recipient hit the portal contrary to the terms of the agreement. I so, smart move on Georgia's part... and, I'm suspecting, long overdue from the donors' standpoint.
I always wondered how/why a Tennessee would promise Nico $8M knowing that a year (or, two) of development would be needed. Could he take the money and run? Or, never play?
I do wonder, though, just how HS kids will process the 'buy-out' terms with all the flash of cash coming their way. And, after they've bought the Lambos, the jewelry, the clothes, and all the other bad choices, AND then decide to hit the portal... I wonder just how effective UGA's lawyers will be in collecting or garnishing the next NIL deal.
Strange days, indeed. Most peculiar, momma. Roll.
