My middle child was driving from Georgia college to Macon to go to her internship and passed a truck in a 65mph zone that transitioned to 55 during her pass. She was ticketed by GSP in Jones County and is 21. She is still on my insurance. She was issued a court summons. She was on 49 which is a 2 lane road. BTW her internship is with Enterprise and they frown on this type of thing. She is paying the fine but my desire is for it to not cost me a fortune in insurance? Recommendations by law Dawgs etc would be greatly appreciated.
