Texas game next year advice

I’ve always wanted to go see the Dawgs play at Texas. For those of you that have traveled to an away game of this magnitude, could you share what the total cost might be (ballpark). It is for my wife and I.

Airfare- Best time to book?

Hotel- 3 star is fine

Tickets- When to purchase? Just in the door seats are fine. Cost estimation?
