I'll wait and see how this sell off looks in 2 or 3 years. For 2016 though, the team will be among the worst in baseball.
If they were trying to win this year, it might be different, but they aren't. Why should fans pay full price for an intentionally substandard product though ?
If management tries to sell this team as built to win ( as they did last year in a blatant con) and charge full prices, I hope they lose much of the fan base.

Braves just traded Maybin 2 Detroit for 2 lefties.
One of them Krol, 24, posted a 5.79 ERA in 28 innings for the Tigers last season. Speier, 20, produced a 2.86 ERA while completing 44 innings for Class A West Michigan in 2015. Doesn't look like any help for 2016. Wonder who will play center.

The only thing this does is save 6.6M dollars of the payroll. The corporation that owns the Braves turned a profit last year and I am afraid instructions may have been to maximize profits and forget about winning. I am surprised that Schurholtz would accept that. He is pretty competitive.

I think hart said a key word flip this team. English means we are getting a new owner

Freddie joined my group for breakfast last week. He's a crossfitter. Nice guy, we didn't talk baseball. I don't know anything about the guy.

Is he a good manager?
