The Democrats have a Muslim problem. It’s why they didn’t choose Shapiro as VP to Harris which was an extraordinary miscalculation.
Maybe youre right. Its also a possibility that Shapiro saw that Harris was a complete moron and backed out to save his political future.
The key point is not that Democrats have a Muslim problem (they do for sure) but the key point is, and the million dollar question is Why? Why do Democrats have a Muslim problem? Why are they so defended and protected? No other religious group on this earth gets away with what the Muslim religion gets away with and still receives pity and support.
The key point is why the Democrats have a "Muslim" problem, but I think that problem isn't about Islam-per-say. I'm not trying to whitewash obvious cultural difference between Islamic countries and the West, but in terms of pure political terms the specifics are less important.
The real reason is that the Democrat Party is made up of a coalition of people who want to transform America. They look at America's founding and cultural heritage as our original sin, and therefore want to purge it from society. Major universities have obviously been on this mission since the 60s, and so the "overly educated" tend to make up a large portion of that community. Un-assimilated ethnic groups also make up a large portion of that demographic, of which politically active Muslims are a specific group.
That divide is on most display with Hispanic voters, because you can see those who desire to live the "American dream" have moved to the right, while those that would prefer to fly the flag of their native country, or whose identity is based on their prior country, will stay with the left.
Not a miscalculation……they thought about it I’m sure. Yet, Jews will still vote blue predominantly.
The left are Communists in Liberal Clothing! Communist/Socialist Dictators have contributed to approximately 95 Million deaths in the last 100+ years. They are killers.
Agree with you ..but can you name another religious sect that gets away with the threats, statements, actions, and crimes that the Muslim religion does in the name of its religion? Both in this country and abroad?
Other religious groups? But if you think of religion more broadly as fundamentalists motivated by ideology, I think you could lump in a variety of other groups ranging from militant environmentalists to social justice warriors. Admittedly, fewer beheadings typically from those camps - but the general "anarcho-tyrannical" framework is still there.
Still there yes, on smaller scales ….just no other religious group, fundamentalist motivated by ideology, etc…however you want to define it, its not anywhere close to the level that we see across the world by those associating themselves with Islam…it’s a daily occurrence, story after story across the world
