Guys let me tell you how impressive this sweep was.
Butch Thompson had the best pitching strategy we've seen this year against our lineup...off speed change ups and breaking balls all weekend. It mitigated the offense a good bit...and the thing is Auburn STILL got swept. And this is a good Auburn team...this team is legit...2nd in the conference in batting average...two maybe three MLB guys in the starting lineup...and we still swept them. And with a cherry on top...Tre Phelps didn't even play this weekend.
Not making predictions...still early..but we've got a sure fire national title contender on our hands.
