nominate Sanders. I expect Sanders to finish in a flourish.

Sanders in the White House will be a major step forward for this country economically.

Sanders will not win. Hillary has 463 Super Delegates that aren't even being counted right now. Sanders has 21. He'll put up a fight but he won't win. Hillary will sweep the SEC states and she's doing it by massive margins. Not to mention she won the heart of New England in Massachusetts which Bernie had to have. She also won ultra white Iowa and a swing state in Nevada. Look at what Bernie won last night. Vermont, his home state. Colorado is a state with legal weed and he has championed it forever. There was no doubt he was winning that. Minnesota's only minorities for the longest time were prince and Kirby Puckett. The only thing he can really point at is Oklahoma. Any state with a semblance of diversity will go to Hillary. If he can't win Michigan and Ohio then he's sunk. There's a lot of white union workers in both states. If he can't win those he's got 0% chance to win.

All kidding aside, Ag, you are just not very smart. I'm sorry, the democrats were lying, life is not fair.

My visit to East Berlin in 1986 was an eye opening example of just how great socialism works. NOT! But I'm sure folks like Ag and the rest of the "gimme free shit" crowd are much more well-traveled and knowledgable. Besides I'm sure they all just want what's best for the country. LOL.

Comparing USSR's communist socialism to Our LONG history of democratic socialism is really not valid. Government quite simply IS socialism.
The first tribe to band together was practicing socialism on it's most intimate level.
I don't know anything about AG, but most democrats and independents who sometimes vote for them are not looking for free shit.

Why would he be a step forward economically? Just curious.

Yes they are, along with more power over us the individuals. The Pilgrims tried socialism, they all almost starved to death.

But that is what ends up happening. You create a system of free shit and the system gets abused by those working the free shit.

There is nothing free. Someone worked for it. I am all for communal working. If everyone works, everyone eats.

Take care of widows and orphans, but do not reward those creating babies for profit. Do not promote welfare, make it difficult to obtain.

Heck, free knee braces for knee pain. Free scooters..... nothing is free. Working America is paying for that, but cottage industries have been built to make money off the backs of our workers. That should be a crime.

It's not just that. Sanders won't win the pledged delegate count.

The democrats are 100% proportional. In order to win the nomination, Sanders doesn't just need to win states. He needs to win them by wide margins... wide enough to overcome the lead Clinton has built on blowout wins in heavily african american states.

Clinton is up by 200 delegates. Bernie got 6 more pledged delegates than Hillary out of his New Hampshire win. 10 more pledged from Colorado. 15 from Minnesota, 4 from Oklahoma, 13 from Kansas, 4 from Nebraska and 7 from Maine. That's +59 from the 7 states he won... or 8.5 delegates per state won. Maybe if he wins by 20+ points in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Florida... then yeah, he could get back in it.

But right now Clinton polls +20 in Michigan and +25 in Florida (no recent polling in the other two). Bernie doesn't just need to reverse those to the point he wins the state... he needs to win by a similar margin going in the other direction.

The dems with their super delegate system is rigged.
