When I heard his speech at Liberty U, I caught the "two" Corinthians flub but wondered if anyone would make a big deal out of it. Typical political speech trying to pander to the crowd, but this one truly showed his lack of Biblical knowledge and shows that he is no better than the "politicians" that he claims not to be. Snake oil salesman and doing a pretty good job right now because a lot of people are buying it. In case you haven't guessed, I'm not a fan.

Again, "playing to his audience" is certainly not unique to salesmen and politicians, nor is it rare in religious circles. Bottom line: Us sheep are so comically predictable and so easy to manipulate regardless of the product being sold. Just take a quick look at breakfast cereals or automobiles for instance. Like most products or programs, they are basically carnival barker (snake oil forefathers) like marketing, sales, and promotion organizations. WE the people ALL buy one brand or the other for a variety of pretty darn shallow reasons. Embarrassingly enough number one (#1) of those reasons is self image. I want to be known as a Cheerios man and/or a Ford guy. Impressive. What's more we can grow to be very defensive and territorial about the brand/banner/team we choose for projecting our image or defining our judgement on the finer points of eating cereal and driving to and from work. We the peeps generally SUCK at making informed choices.

Agree, just look at the last 2 presidential elections. It doesn't take much to win over a majority of voters today, just promise more free stuff knowing full well you can't produce. Like sheep to a slaughter.

AssHole doesn't talk specifics about anything. All I hear him say in "Negotiate" or call TC childish names. He should fit right in with all those POS in WDC.
