you when you cook, you clean as you go so the kitchen is not a disaster? I do, but wives/girlfriends/partners/other? Not so much in my case.

I clean up as I go along as well. There is time between cooking things to do that. I can not stand the clutter and the excess mess if not cleaning while preparing a meal.
I have noticed my wife does not do that either.

I try to clean and put away everything I can, so that I don't have to dread

doing a counter and sink full later. Makes life so much more pleasant when you can relax and post on the chat.

I am a fanatic about it, and I do all the cooking at my house. As for...

everyday upkeep around the house, I am fair at doing it, but in the kitchen it's essential for me. I don't have a clue as to why that is though.

I told the wife before we married ,that I did not do dishes. She said ......

,"Okay". Little did I know that she did not either

I make a sandwich and when I'm done, all tHat's on the

Counter is the sandwich. Never been with a woman yet that didn't have half the kitchen on the counter when she was done.

imo, leave the sink alone...

If you aren't going to clean a pan or a dish, leave it on the counter. Nothing worse than having to pull crap out of the sink so that you can get them properly put in the dishwasher.

Always............OCD won't allow me not too............

LOL, Actually it's not that funny as it kinda sucks to not be able to just enjoy cooking.

I do, I hate the mess, now my wife on the other hand, no matter what she cooks, when she is done it looks like a bomb exploded and takes forever to clean up..........ughhh.........
