I know what the football only/cares crowd will say to this post, so I’m ready for the “well, tell me how football is going for them” posts, etc. That’s fine and this post invites that, no doubt.
However, dang, Tenn has finished 1st the past 3 seasons in the SEC all-sports titles? As much as I hate admitting it, their athletics are rolling right now and they’re the best across the board. Again, I know the “football only matters, etc” posts will be here and no problem with that but daggum as the late Bobby Bowden would say, that’s gotta change and we gotta move into that top spot. Felt like from the mid-2000s to like 2008 that was OUR spot to own.
Also, another “daggum” but being 17th in the Learfield Directos Cup ins acceptable for a proud athletic institution like UGA is. Dawgs should be top-10 MINIMUM every year….
