Spent some time doing some digging yesterday afternoon.
After the game I had parents asking me if had heard anything...some say they've started to hear some rumors about the coaching situation now that Georgia is all but assured it's fourth straight losing season.
Right now, the word I'm hearing is folks "think" CSS will be back for another season.
He's got two years left on a contract that pays him approximately 1.2 million. Would Athletic Director Greg McGarity be willing to
pay that much to make a change?
It would seem questionable.
What does seem most likely, however, if CSS does stay, Pitching Coach Corral and Hitting Coach Daeley probably won't.
Georgia ranks at or near the bottom in both team pitching and batting. The stats don't lie.
Again, this is what I understand as of today is the likely scenario.
But there's some fluidity in this situation.
The ninth-inning debacle on Friday was considered a final straw situation by some.
