What's behind the relentless media criticism of the police this year?...

gotta be the upcoming elections
Just setting the stage so that the government can justify a national police force. Anarchy in the streets means that local governments are no longer capable of policing their own. Most of the media walks in lock step with democratic policies.

National police force would be just a money and resource grab, imo... But wouldn't that require a constitutional amendment ?

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." I'm sure the nitwit-in-chief would LOVE to have this, but yes, He'd need a Constitutional Amendment to get it done.

It's really annoying. I have lived in Cobb Co and never had any issues with the police here. If you don't break the law you don't get messed with. My wife's mother lives in Mexico and the critics should go there. People don't call the police when there's a problem in most places - they call the military. You don't know what will happen when you get stopped by police.

An attempt to divert attention away from the fact that minorities have actually suffered under 6 years of Obama. With Hillary gonna "double down" on the same policies gotta find a scapegoat and the police are an easy target. Between that and Hillary's lie that Republicans are basically blocking the doors to the voting booth, they've already started what's gonna be the same old divisive campaign strategy they've used before.

You need look no further than the Dept of Homeland Security, a waste of 80 billion taxpayer dollars, that recently had a 96% failure rate detecting "dummy" bombs at numerous airports, to see how well it would function. Of course the feds said it was because they were underfunded.

Simple. Blacks are a linchpin of liberal effort to grab power. One of the two huge voting and martyr block voting and symbolic "victim" groups that are necessary in their day to day justification of control. And since blacks are far more prone to violence and criminal activity than other groups then who are their natural foes and who is their negative interactions likely to be with. The cops. A huge liberal spin opportunity. And the libs spin it even further, it's not cops per se, IT is WHITE MALE COPS! And the media is controlled by the libs. Liberals are humanities version of fire ants. They are destroying all that is good about life. And it is all a LIE! Some of them are even smart enough to know it.
