Trying to pass it off as a "meet and greet" kind of thing.

Personally, while I don't care for Ryan, he IS the elected person. Trump is not. He also is the 3rd most powerful person in the US govt. Trump's nothing but a candidate. He hasn't won anything. Until Nov he's basically nothing. And may still be nothing after.

Ryan's got to fight for others in his party as well as his district he represents did not go for Trump.

Priebus is the moderator. Carson's "going to warm up the room to Ryan before the meeting".

Uh huh.

I say they walk out and be all peaceful and trump will look like he just spotted someone stealing a tv .

They will talking about their disagreements and act all in love

Trotting out an old adage: "Politics makes strange bedfellows." Or Shakespeare's original quote and origin of the previous "old adage" would be "Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows." - from "The Tempest"

No. It went for Cruz. Trouble for Ryan, no matter how you look at it.

Yep.

Saw Cong Peter King from NY on tv the other day. He said right now, the GOP is divided into fourths. The far right evangelicals that can't go for Trump, the elites who don't like Trump, the middle who do but with reservations and the "establishment moderates" who don't.

Pretty much sums it up.

Anybody but Washington DC establishment elite would be incredibly refreshing. Not sure that person or persons could ever get elected by us. We the people are to blame for being so numb and or stupidly dependent on any version of promise(s) to favor our personal cause(s) or better yet, simply playing to our fears and insecurities in general and successfully for over 60 years. We cannot get enough of the age old lullabyes. We love being in drool mode. Just keep the needle inserted and the drip bag upstream. Bottom line, all that matters to us (about 80% of us) are entertainment and other forms of personal gratification. Make us laugh and we are good to go. We suck and are getting better at that, which easily makes us think we know what's up.

Ryan is just playing politics. He's going to endorse him. He's just delaying
