Since it's all but confirmed (part deuce)

Since it's all but confirmed CSS sabotaged our entire season and it's obvious Kirby values friendship over winning like a Saturday morning cartoon, I wonder what else has been all but confirmed by the internet this young year:
I can think of:
- All but confirmed Kirby was going full Dabo and strike out in the transfer portal
- All but confirmed the Charlotte kid was promised to start over Lagway at UF
- All but confirmed Sark is going to the NFL and Arch will be free agent #1

What else has been repeated so much on the internet that it must be true?

Any Refs/Rules officials on here…

Buddy of mine sent me a video saying ASU is thinking about appealing the result based on the blocked field goal at the end of the half of their game against Texas.

The field goal was blocked …bounced…and then went through the uprights.

Now I haven’t been able to find anything in the rules that strictly requires the ball go through the uprights in the air per se.

So, apply the kind of statutory construction I would use as a lawyer I would take the plain meaning of the rule if applicable and conclude in favor of enforcing the rule if possible.

If you do that and all that is required is that the ball get through the uprights after it is kicked, then there’s a reasonable argument the field goal should have counted.

Let me be clear…I don’t think the game is getting overturned …I do think we will get a clarification soon.

But I am curious if there are refs or rules officials here that have knowledge of the rules better than me that can tell me if i am missing something.

I got obsessed with this since doing a cursory search and went down the rabbit hole!
