The hand-wringing over coaching changes is at an all time high....But I enjoyed Radi's post yesterday afternoon and think he made some very valid points. That's not to say I'm not still frustrated with how predictable our offense and how non explosive our defense was this year, but I do agree the blame can go across the board. Maybe we're a little spoiled by that "team of the century" we had but heck, who wouldn't want that every year...lol

Anybody know about us taking a QB transfer from one of our biggest rivals for 2025?

Might get us something nice with it.

He was moving onto the NFL despite getting hurt. We were moving on, he said goodbye. he was obviously counseled to go back to school to rehab and try to have a recovery year before his big first rookie contract. To be honest, going back to Georgia might’ve been a jerk move to Gunner and pugs. He might as well get new coaching and easier defenses in the ACC. Plus, he’s from Florida and his hot girlfriend is in Miami and obviously leading him around by the nose. Heck, I might transfer to Miami if she told me to do it.

Maybe there’s stuff under the surface that we don’t know, I know people are speculating, but to me we parted as friends. My only concern is playing them in the playoffs next year because we won’t live it down if we lose it.

body language was awful, as my wife pointed out to me at the time, but I just brushed it off as him having to watch his backup play instead of him. Rational.

But seeing some of the other things that are being said, I think his body language should have told us a lot more.

I’m beginning to think the absolute outpouring of support for Gunner before that game should also have told us maybe something about the difference in the way the team sees Gunner vs the way they see Beck. Maybe things weren’t all good there, and maybe the Lambo DID in fact drive a wedge. Who knows?

I just know that I’m feeling good about our QB room coming into 2025, and if it’s not where it needs to be, then I trust Kirby to tamper with a good option. Lol

If it’s Gunner, we know we are getting a TRUE leader and a guy with a winner’s attitude. If it’s Pugs (which I secretly hope it is, strictly because of the upside), then we know he will be better than what Gunner showed in 1.5 games and that would be huge for us. I’d hate it for Gunner thought, but love it for UGA.

But join me in wishing Carson Beck one final SCREW YOU, and finishing it off with a wry smile. Go Dawgs, baby, or die!
