Title IX ruling(?)

If the Dept. of Education had ruled that Title IX does indeed extend to include NIL Payments, I have a few questions that only the Wisdom of the Vent can answer:
  1. Isn't that why a lot (most?) schools pay their NIL through these shell collectives, so the money isn't coming directly from the institution?
  2. Does the Federal Dept. of Education overrule State Governor rulings such as those made in Georgia and (I think) Missouri?
  3. For cases where the NIL Payments are now going to be subject to Title IX, what happens to those contracts? Are the voided? Are they renegotiated?
  4. Is this just a first step toward the Congress wasting their time and tax-payer money again meddling in sports instead of addressing actual government business?
That last one might get me sent to the chat.

We’ll never know this but.

We’ll never know this but this game I believe would’ve been completely different with Carson Beck. Gunner didn’t do a bad job but Notre Dame knew they could pack the box in a way they could not have with CarsonBeck
Everybody’s throwing off on the offensive line and they did have some poor play tonight. but five will never be able to block eight. Notre Dame loaded the box because they knew gunner is a little short
A little less accurate and a little less cool then Carson.
goes to back to a point that I’ve made all season… I said since they announce the new format playing in a money first championship conference game is sooner later going to cost a top team their best player. It was us and we hoped against hope that we could cover it up. We couldn’t. Nice accomplishment of the SEC but put a national trophy in one room in an SEC Trophy and another and see which room is more crowded. Conference championships game should be on their way out. Do you know who didn’t get anybody lost in the first week of December? Ohio State
I’m sure 1 million people are about to tell me how wrong I am but that game would’ve been completely different with Carson maybe gotten the pass off a half a second faster stepped up into the pocket better and made better decisions sorry boys that’s the fact of the matter. Now flame away I don’t really care.
And out receiver core played especially poor tonight again they were playing without a quarterback that it started the last 25 or so games. Things are different and if you don’t think that you’ve never played. our wide receiver core was especially bad buy they were playing without a quarterback that it started the last 25 or so games. Things are different and if you don’t think that you’ve never played. If do you want to continue to crush Aryan Smith go ahead but I’m glad he’s a Dawg

Proud of the team.

Disappointed with tonight, and with many aspects of the season…

But with the schedule and injury adversity we faced, and how we fought so hard so many times to scrap and claw our way to wins…

I still am proud of the team. Not letting the last game ruin my memories of the Texas, Clemson and Tennessee games, so many awesome plays, the OT victories, a freaking league championship, etc.

Lots to fix and address, and I still believe Kirby is the guy to do it…but he was overwhelmed with so many distractions (off field, on field, family health issues, terror attacks). It was about has uphill a climb as you can put in front of a team and he still had them fighting the whole way.

Y’all continue bitching and moaning about coaches and players and NIL and whatever, that’s what this board is for. And much of it is correct. But I hope you don’t bury the season as a “failure” or forget about it because while we didn’t get to watch domination, we got to see a lot of heart and it’s one of the things I love most about supporting the program.

Goodnight.
