I would rather have Gunner/Puglisi at QB…..

for 2025 than CB. Beck has outstayed his welcome, and it’s time for him to move on. There’s too much drama around CB and what seems like a sour disposition on his part. His facial expression and his body language aren’t what we need from a UGA starting quarterback.

Gunner did a good job in the Sugar Bowl, and I believe he will play even better in 2025 with more experience, that is unless Puglisi beats him out. At any rate, CB needs to move on. GO DAWGS!

Arkansas game feels crucial at this point

Obviously first of all we need to get back in the W column.

Second, given how highly road games are valued, it’s the exact time of game that really hurts to lose.

The way things are going, it’s looking like 8-10 will lock us in to the tournament. We need to get 6 more wins somewhere

Here are our best chances IMO:

@ARK
vs SC
vs LSU
vs Moo St
vs Mizzou
@ Texas
@ SC
vs Vandy

Of course, there are other games that we COULD win, and we probably will steal 1 or 2, but I think we need to go 5-3 or better in the games above.

Looking ahead in the playoffs.

We’re going to need Gunner to play his A** off in the pocket….and let’s hope that our WRs can make big plays. We can’t depend on our defense to keep teams under 20 points at this level….can we score 35 points in a shootout? The 2021 and 2022 national title teams provide they could…which was the difference in winning or losing. Of course, running the ball with authority will open up play-action. Can’t wait for the ND game…I believe they are better than we think. Dawgs will need to score 30 to win.

So eerie watching the local news…

This nutball entered Bourbon Street from Canal Street. The team hotel (Marriott) and media hotel (Sheraton) are across the street from each other on Canal, like three or four blocks away.
This one scene they keep showing, you can barely see the restaurant Patrick and I ate the other night.
Really odd walking around. Everyone almost like they are in a daze.

I know we will not over pay for a player, and understood, but really perplexed we haven’t found any for depth…..

I mean, we have taken in zero players right? I would have thought we would have found a few depth pieces that were in the “bargain bin” category?

Maybe it is because of the playoffs and not enough time?

Maybe we are good with current roster, but with what we were claiming we were thin in certain areas we would have found at least some depth like pieces?

Maybe the Jake Pope situation scared us some?

I just find it weird we have not taken in anyone.

In hindsight, Travis Hunter made a good choice for himself.

Spurns FSU to follow a coach who ensured the spotlight would be focused on him. He might of ended up with more ‘team’ jewelry at a UGA… but, clearly, in pure Deion fashion, has been the shining star par excellence at each stop. I doubt UGA would let him go both ways for 60 minutes a game.

If personal gain becomes the be-all-end-all for HS athletes, will we see more kids less concerned with team-oriented success like Travis?
