It's a turd of a plane that was supposed to cost 35-45 million a piece, that ended up costing more than the F-22, and it's not even as good as the planes it's supposed to replace in many areas. The program should have been shit-canned and the F-22 should have been bought in mass.

It's not. Complaints are ignorance repeating ignorance. Lots of opinions formed by people that have no idea of what's required for future air ops and the timelines required to field them.

Actual operators of the F-35 are thrilled. The F-35 does not and has never been intended to have the same mission set as the F-22. Both dominate in their respective roles.
