We stand 2nd in money spent per student, and 28th in results, worldwide. We no longer use flash cards, or memorization, or anything that's been proven to teach required skills. History class has turned into a lesson in how bad our country is. Our educational system is a joke.

I assume you're addressing this to me. The Constitution is quite clear in it's meaning. There is no room for interpretation. Follow it, and everything else works pretty well. Deviate, and you get what we've got. I'll say it again: There are 18 enumerated Powers that are to be carried out by the Federal Government. EVERYTHING ELSE falls under the purview of the States. What part of that is so difficult to understand?

Notice that they talk a great game about the poor, but they all live in gated communities as FAR away from bad neighborhoods as they can get. When I was in high school and college, I drove a truck and delivered building materials. My partners were mostly black, sometimes ex-cons, or on work release.
