This is my understanding of what the jury has to believe. Correct me if wrong..

You have to believe the prosecution has proven, beyond all reasonable doubt that

Trump ordered payment to Stormy, from campaign funds, instead of his personal funds....specifically to influence the election.

1. Is my assessment correct
2. Do you believe the state proved this
3. Why...or how.

The fact that it isn't obvious to anyone what the jury needs to believe is the best evidence of all that this case is total bullshit. No one understands it.

Judge Merchan reread the charge of falsification of business records. He said a person is guilty of that in the first degree "when, with intent to defraud that includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof, that person: makes or causes a false entry in the business records of an enterprise."

"With an intent to commit another crime"
What crime was Trump concealing?

What crime was Trump concealing?
The crime of running for President and being the anti-christ in NY, LA, and DC.

3 theories:

- tax laws
- state election laws
- federal election laws

It's not the crime. It's the intent to commit these other crimes. If you are concealing the intent, that checks the box.

That's how the statute reads...

So we are relying on the jury's own individual prior knowledge of these laws? In other words, they need to understand the tax deductibility of porn star payouts?

Fairly sure it was not Federal election law as defense had a witness ready to testify no Federal Election laws were broken. I think it all hinges on state election laws and state taxes since i assume it was a deduction. My best bet today is he is found guilty and is elected in November, that will be wild............

According to the jury instructions FEC violation is one element to consider. Again, he doesn't have to commit the crime. Only has to intend to commit.

So now it's porn star payouts and not legal expenses? Thanks. That makes it easy.

Guilty of intended FEC violation?

How has the state proven that?

I wasn't on the jury. They heard the testimony. They get to decide. That's generally how it works. Were you there? What do you know, padre?

Can you read Trump’s mind where is proof of concealing the intent.

if only Trump wasn’t too chicken to get on the stand and tell us something different.... but he’s scared
Why is he scared? He even said he was expecting to get convicted by this kangaroo court. He will also get a hell of a bump in the polls. People with common sense can see what’s going on here and they don’t give a crap about this trial.

Allen Dershowitz( liberal attorney& well respected) has called the trial a scam & said it should have never been brought to trial! I know that much!

Oh I’m quite sure he begged and pleaded with his attorneys to get on the stand because he is arrogant enough to think it would help him. But any attorney with a shit would let their client get on the stand when the prosecution hasn’t proven a crime, or accurately described how the 34 counts of business records violations constitutes one at all.

i’m pretty sure that Trump doesn’t take advice from council, but that his council takes direction from him. He talks a big game outside of the courtroom, but get him in the courtroom and under oath and he's scared. He’s complaining that they didn’t get to call witnesses, but they could’ve called him.

I know it’s not required for a defendant to have to testify on their own behalf, but he can’t complain that his side of the story hasn’t gotten out if he didn’t get up to tell his side of the story.

because he is scared.

That judge refused to allow the witnesses to testify.

Yes, Merchan ( liberal scumbag ), limited basically all pertinent evidence & information that would have been used by the defense!
