Wow , so many of the tell tale signs are there ...this is so disheartening and sad that so many people could condone this crime !

I use to work at auto trader. Fraudsters came up with a scheme - steal credit card, post bogus ad for a lower price Item, like a motorcycle, get people to buy sight unseen and scam them for the vehicle. Trader was a incidental harmed party. Credit card companies blamed trader and threatened to cut off cc processing. We developed a fraud program. Staffed from previous none to over 40! Just to deal with this. Learned a bit about the fraudsters. The article is consistent with that experience
