POLL: Yes or No???.....

Yes.....

my rights AND freedom guaranteed under the Constitution to practice my faith are more paramount than DENYING my right to refuse service to individuals that desire the right to push their immorality upon me and/or my business.

We've become a nation that approves of the legalization of the murdering of babies, yet you may go to jail for refusing to process an order of a wedding cake for two homosexuals.

Not right, nor will it be tolerated too much longer...

Ain't nobody happy if the geighs ain't happy.

That seems to be the order of the day in our country during Obama's second term. Remember though, in 2008, Obama said: "I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage." Interesting how far the gay lobby has brought political correctness on the subject in 7 years.

All business's should post this info at the front door.....

Just so everybody knows.

Actually, I think this is the biggest non issue to come up in years....both sides seem like they are being petty to me.

Not stupid at all......

at least for those who desire to practice and worship their faith as they see fit.

It's only stupid because of the times we're in today that was absolutely unthinkable just a few decades ago that we'd be warring against this tirade of evil that wants to envelope us and, therefore, the necessity of having to pass such laws to protect us.

Fence-straddling = lukewarmness = makes you throw up!

McDonough.....I'm not attacking you personally (plz understand that)....

I'm just attacking the vein of thinking you've taken on the issue. The point is the sadness of the necessity of having to pass such laws in the first place It's reflective of just how far we've fallen as a people and society, and as a nation.

Which rule are you saying is stupid?

The new law says that government may only trample on religious liberty if it has a compelling reason, and if its trampling is the least restrictive of available options. What's stupid about that?

Or did you mean the court ruling that says a wedding photographer is compelled by government to shoot a gay wedding?

Agreed, I see no need for a law...if folks would use common sense

but I know that is out of the question.

I have been clear, it's dumb on two fronts..

Dumb for someone not to want to serve Gays...dumb for Gays to want to business with someone who clearly doesn't want their business. Common sense could prevail....

All that has to happen is for a business owner to post he doesn't want to serve Gay folks...and Gay folks to take their money elsewhere. Everybody wins, correct?

Except the people who didn't want to service a gay wedding lost in court

What about this particular religious liberty law is stupid? You seem to agree that people shouldn't be compelled to service a gay wedding, right? I know you just want everybody to be nice, but since they aren't, we have laws to protect our rights and liberties from bad people who want to take them.

Im trying to understand you point. What is stupid about a law that limits government's power over your life?

If people wood use common sense and not steal, we wood not need

Those "stupid" laws either.
Unfortunately, people don't behave like you want them to.
