I know it’s a simply a product of necessary CFP scheduling, but we’ve made fun of pre-Christmas bowl games for so long it feels odd that top 15’ish teams’ seasons are kaput before the reindeer begin to lather up. Or before Mary’s water breaks, if you prefer that analogy.
