Fetterman is only Dem Senator to vote for Bondi

She seems to have run a tight ship in Florida

She hired the Democrat candidate she beat in Florida to work in her justice department

She handled herself well in all the hearings

Has not made any outlandish comments or statements that I can tell

Has not hung around Trump

So why did both Georgia Senators vote against her. Hopefully one of them is DONE in 2026….

Was not a fan of Bondi in FL, but she is an opportunist without deep DC ties which should align her incentives well with Trump.

Her resume is obviously pretty standard for the role, so the fact that Fetterman is the sole D is just a sign of partisan entrenchment - which is fine, but something Republicans need to learn in the future.
