The pope is an idiot on this subject. The worlds biggest enivormental is problem is China and that government can do whatever it wants with that economy. On top of that, capitalism is the biggest contributor to the pope's coffer's.

Look at the other countries that are experiencing economic growth, and see how they are not held to the standards the U.S. is. If it were truly about the environment we would have an even playing field. The environmental movement is nothing more than an attack on capitalism. Pure and simple. He knows darn well that capitalism gives all a chance to rise above their standing and to achieve, no other "ism" does that.
I would think working in a Catholic church your whole life depending on the generosity of the work of others would tend to distort your ideas of how the rest of the world makes a living.

The whole save the earth movement has its roots in communism and that is the lefts way of attacking Capitalism. Bingo. My Mom is a Eucharistic Minister, and she is very disappointed in Francis. As for matters of the heart and charity, fine, but he needs to keep his personal politics out of it. Nowhere in Church dogma is anything about Global Warminig, or Minimum Wage, or for that matter, illegal immigration. Father, worriy about my soul, not about my income. Thanks.
