Trump must be comfortable with his internal polling for GA. Probably has the state wrapped up. He might not need Kemp's support but this is the right thing to do. And it sets up Kemp for a Senate run as a Trump ally. He's working his next move.

Perhaps a short-lived truce.

Couple of comments unrelated:

1. The changes in ID requirements in my mind was a game changer and the current version of voter laws are the standard other swing states should use. Not saying its perfect, but better than 90% of the other states. Trump will win Georgia by over 100K votes IMO unless he totally goes crazy criticizing Kemp again and / or does something crazy again.

2. Bluestein has a chance in 2020 to do a deep dive into the Fulton County fiasco and instead chose to memick the liberal line in every instance. A friend of mine runs into him every legislative session and cornered him one day and asked him repeatedly about no signature audits in Fulton Co, the bathroom fiasco, and doing a statistical model to compare votes in certain precincts (that was done by some Republican Pollsters) and a couple of other matters. He seemed of little interest and instead wanted to question the merits of changing the 2020 voting law to what it is today. He is a California liberal type working

I have no idea the merits of what these members are asking or looking into. If Trump plays it straight, he doesn't need any help in winning Georgia, he is going to do it on his on. Hopefully he is smart enough to ignore this conflict but wouldn't bet either way.

Pretty connected to this one. They talked. Decided we can and should help each other. Kemp is all in because of the greater good. No one wants to see what a Kamala Walz admin will look like. Shit the last one was bad enough.
This appears to be two separate issues. Kemp can support Trump but has a duty to ensure Georgia had a fair election.

He has to find out first if he can even do this. He has asked the ag if it is legal last I heard. Stay tuned. He knows the stakes however
