Funny, I got a similar reaction three months before the 2020 election when I suggested there was a good chance that Trump wouldn’t accept the results if he lost. How did that work out?

You do admit that Trump attempted to stop the certification, right? And you do acknowledge that the entire point of the J6 riot was to prevent certification so that the fake electors could be taken up by the same republicans who refused to certify the election?
Gore lost by 700 something votes in Florida. With a margin that small, of course he asked for a recount. While the recount was occurring, the Bush campaign petitioned the Supreme Court to stop the recount. The Supreme Court ordered the recount stopped. Within an hour, Gore went on TV to concede. Now compare that to Trump’s post election actions.
Having alternate electors ready to go is not illegal. At all, as history has shown. "Fake Electors! OMG!" is just political grandstanding.

You have the right to protest peacefully, these were not, so lock the bastards up and throw away the key.
But c'mon Lava, you are a smart guy, the protests you showed were not designed to stop the peaceful transfer of power, which had existed for over 200 years until Trump came along. These were some idiots being violent after Trump had been inaugurated. The Capitol protests were designed by Trump's inner circle to stop the count to buy time to figure out a way to steal an election. There is no comparison to the idiots protesting on inauguration day, and you know it.
You forget that after the recount, Bush ended up with even more votes.
Seems like things would have gone smoother if the Pelosi and the Dems had taken Trumps offer of 10k national guard troops in advance.
I assume he thought his devious plan to overturn the election would work better if nobody brought weapons and the military was there to stop him?
