Biggest issue from start of his first term was leaving some folks in positions that tried to undermine him. He needs to fire a boat load of career folks in FBI, justice department and Pentagon out of the gate. I think he and his administration understands that and we will see many more folks get thrown off the boat and soon.

Keesha "Crime Wave" Bottoms has already been fired (and announced it on Twitter/X) no less.

Trump looks for lackies who will do his bidding. A 4 star general would, and did, tell Trump to kiss his arse if ordered to do something illegal or unethical. That's why Trump nominated a talk show host to lead the Pentagon. That's also why he nominated Gaetz to be the country's top prosecutor... even though he's never been a prosecutor before. Insane. He wants to punish political opponents. Same with Kash Patel. No one who is actually qualified would do what Trump says, and he doesn't like that. So he has exclusively nominated cabinet members who are wholly unqualified. Rubio has potential, Hegseth may accidentally be good because he served. Kash is going to wind up like Trump's last lawyer (Michael Cohen)... in prison.

Milley and Wray were way to much of a political creature , seemed to be birthed straight from the DC swamp.

Milley and Austin both should have resigned after the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco. They were responsible for not standing up to Biden.

Hegseth should do fine. The AG should do fine. Rubio will do fine. All his cabinet picks are ok , some reservations about Kash but most of dems are fearful he is going to expose some crap, hope he does

I agree with all your post except on Kash. No one is worried he will “exposed“ anything.

He has already said publicly, that he will open investigations into people affiliated with the CDC, and anyone who tried to prosecute Donald Trump for the crimes he actually committed. This is political retribution, and is almost unheard of in our country. The fact that people are supporting that means you were supporting things that will tear our country apart. The guy is insane and his nomination is insane.

That being said, I agree with 198 out of Donald Trump‘s 200 executive orders… So I guess I’ll take some good with the bad.

Political retribution- so Garland and FBI did it but kept quiet about it and Kash said beforehand he was going to do it and it’s worse? He’ll be held to a high standard of proof, so if he finds something it will be legit. Suspect he gets confirmed, we shall see. Hopefully he runs it center right instead of left

The FBI knew that Donald Trump had classified documents in his possession, which is a crime, and met with him three times in person to try to get him to give them back. He refused every single time.

There was no other choice than to get a search warrant and retrieve those documents. Biden also took documents to his personal residence, and when they showed up, he gave them back.

Pointing to bad behavior by other people to justify bad behavior by yourself, or by your favorite political person is a spiral downward. You are allowed to have standards, and you are allowed to say that both things are wrong.

The problem is that you Seem to want life-long politicians in these positions and that is the opposite of what this country needs.

There are so many conservative Republican general for DOD, attorneys for AG, etc. and Trump chooses none of them and goes to hire unqualified people.

Think about why that is.

No sane person wants DEI hoe Kamala as president, but all power needs to be scrutinized. Biden deserves it, Obama deserves it, Bush deserves it, and Trump certainly deserves it.

Trump is so right about so many things, but these cabinet pics are a little dicey.

He went the good ole boy Pub route in his first term and it got him an AG that recused himself and allowed the swamp to attempt a full fledged soft coup. Remember good ole conservatives Rosenstein and Comey swearing to an affidavit before a secret court that was mostly BS in order to investigate a sitting POTUS?

Yeah, if I'm Trump I'm probably choosing someone that might be a little bit dicey over those willing to turn the Constitution upside down in an effort to take me out and exec branch employees that openly and not so openly resist.

If Trump would have had any real classified documents we would have heard by now. It would have been leaked to the NYT or CNN. My assumption at this time, he had nothing worth while and Trump was aware as well. Trump doesn’t trust FBI or AG at all and perhaps with good reason

Yeah, the doc case may have gotten a little more traction if it didn't seem like people that had never been potus had been mishandling classified docs for decades. If DC had insisted that Hillary's home had been raided and her server confiscated before she could have cleaned it "with a cloth?" and that evidence taken to a grand jury, maybe more Trump supporters would have thought he wasn't being singled out. Once it was discovered that Joe had docs in his garage and even Pence had possession of docs, it looked more like a show me the man and I'll show you a crime than a unique national security threat.

Wait... you are not aware that Trump had classified documents in his home? Yikes.

Yes I know Trump had documents that were marked as Classified. If the raid would have revealed any of these documents that were TRULY TOP SECRET it would have been leaked to the NYT or CNN to help Harris. It wasn’t so a reasonable assumption is he has some Classified stuff of little relevance or value.

I don’t think YOU EVER raid a former President’s home. You go back there 10 plus times if you have too to get data you need peacefully and without incident. Garland and Wray thought they had him but apparently their raid provided nothing significant. For record, I assumed Trump had something that was very Top Secret, I no longer have that opinion

Pot calling the kettle black again. His nominees are a lot more qualified than those insane patient’s Biden put in there. You libs just can’t stand to see Trump as President might as well get used to it.

I never really thought he had any vital national security docs but I've always assumed the DOJ and AG thought Trump might have docs about the investigations of him. Docs that were only classified in order to hide nefarious activities by investigators and pols.

LMBO, who told you they were unqualified? The nyt, msnbc, cnn. the gentle"person" from HI in her questioning? Are you trying to say the previous president put qualified people in place and not those that agreed with his far left anti America agenda? Man you are sometimes with it. But I think you fall into the weak snowflake trap on some topics and this is one. Did you listen to Pam Bondi? Did you listen to Pete Hegseth? I admit I don't know much about Kash but I assure you he can't be worse than the last two.

What inspired you about bidens picks? LOL they were doozies.

Do you not believe the DOJ went after political rivals under biden? Do you not see that they changed the rules. Never before has a political rival and his circle like the past 4 years. Does that mean no one in the past did anything wrong? Nope, it just means they were out so it was passed on for the good of the country. Not with trump and anyone that dare be friends with him. They went after him/them, changed laws, hand picked grand juries and judges. I'm tired of this.... JUST TELL ME ONE BIDEN APPOINTEE YOU THINK DID GOOD THINGS FOR AMERICA? And give me their preferred pronouns.

So, this post is a good example. Twitter’s popularity has caused folks to fall into the “well, he did it too” trap. We’re talking about the cabinet picks of Trump, no one else. And Biden’s picks range from average to abysmal.

If you feel that Trump’s picks are qualified, I’d love to discuss it. But claiming that you don’t like the other side’s picks so we can nominate people who are also not good is weird and unproductive . Another option is just nominate people who are good and qualified.

Dark money scandal that just surfaced in Justice and Agriculture may take several old Biden lackeys to the federal pen
