Well, if you didn’t believe Trump would be President again, before now…., it’s now been assured.

This is going to be fun to watch.

In about a year, it will be fun watching the montages of seemingly unrelated news “journalists” repeating the exact same lines over and over.

At least we can all watch, in full and living color, the stupidity of our government.

And fun to watch Dems jump ship. I find it amazing how the globalist Repubs line up with the progressive liberals when it comes to protecting the wealthy and streamlining our freedoms.

Being a huge WWII student and studying the resurrection of Germany out of WWI as it moved into the 1930’s, we are watching history replicated in our own country.

Suppression of freedoms, as selectively chosen by a central movement, then endorsed by the central government. The constant badgering and aggressive protests designed to shut down opposing opinion. And the media embracing the movement.

Hitler knew, as does our Fed gov, that a strong economically positioned citizenry is a danger to the state. You bury freedom, then allow enough prosperity, which is seen as benevolence, to heighten the mood of the country. This occurs as gradualism and relativism replaces independence with acceptance of provision.

So the question is what definition of gov economic system are we more closely aligned to at this point in time 2023? And of the two political parties where is their alignment the closest?

A) Capitalism - You freely own two cows. You sell one and buy a bull. You raise capital, become self sufficient growing grain and hay and your family is rewarded generationally as you gain financially from your business through initiative and planning.

B)Socialism - You have two cows. The gov takes one and gives it to your neighbor while neither of you gain financially. Expansion is impossible and you must buy hay and grain at politically controlled prices. You cannot provide generational wealth as the gov retaxes your family upon your death. The gov owns your property then sells it.

C)Communism - The gov takes your cows then gives you the milk they think you need.

D)Fascism - The gov takes your cows then sells you the milk.

E)Nazism - The gov takes your cows then kills you.

In my opinion, no matter what we say we are, we are controlled by political elites that don’t want wealth built by citizens, but rather, on the backs of citizens. We are, in my opinion a mixture of B and D. D for the wage earners, but C for equity inclusion.

Political party wise, the Repubs are A and Dems B, that will turn to C.

When the central gov makes and owns the rules, we are socialists.

What’s your take?

Joy, for me, is when a liberal can sit back and laugh when he has no response to political debate.

Much like a Kamala cackle.

When you have no educated response, just laugh and act like you are more holy and wise.

Yes, joy.

Never discuss the opinion stated. Shout it down, hold it in contempt, and deny its justification. Hitler played that to perfection and destroyed his country and killed millions as he created racial hatred.

The key is in the act of central government control. When the central government reaches for control, we give up freedoms. The Fed was designed to support the states, not rule them. When states rights are weakened, our freedoms dwindle.

In my opinion, any citizen that desires control by the central government is a fool. History proves that point, not me.

We laugh, shout down and discourage public debate. And we do it because truth is discovered and agenda is found wanting when logic is displayed.

Just laugh and hide.

It may assure he's the nominee but I don't think it's going to move the needle whatsoever with moderates and independents. Two groups he needs and does very poorly with. The primary and general election are two totally different animals.

Take a look at the most recent midterm elections. Hopefully Republicans will take a hard look at that disastrous result and learn something.

Guys.

Trump lost as an incumbent president during one of most tumultuous times this countries seen since WW2… To a guy that you all claimed is bad and nicknamed sleepy joe. He lost to that guy and it wasn’t even that close.

So now he’s been indicted (probably not the only time) and is 4 years older and this somehow strengthens his candidacy? Two impeachments, one indictment, at 77 years old… This is what’s going to push the soccer mom’s and the rest of the center to the polls for him?

If the whole process was fair and balanced, I would agree. But when CNN lectures me on virtue and truth, I know I am on the right side of life.

Look at who is attacking him.

Don’t get your hopes up. It’s really simple math. Orange Jesus cannot win without Pennsylvania OR Wisconsin OR GEORGIA, all of whom have shifted Democratic. It would take 2 of those three. Disastrous is not gonna win anything; the country realizes he’s a turd. Better gear up for four or more years of Democratic leadership.

Ah, more joy. The Kamala cackle emoji with no personal thought applied. Dutiful attention to agenda.

Bravo. I love it!

Agenda insanity without the ability to provide rebuttal beyond emotional angst. Very metrosexual 2020’s.

The day of men acting as and claiming to be women is upon us. I love women, not dysphoria.

Bring it on Kamala! “Because” is not an acceptable reason.

The impeachments and indictment are the only things that could be considered not fair and balanced...the rest are just facts. He lost to sleepy Joe and is 4 years older. He certainly isn't a better candidate than he was in 2020...

Who mentioned the election? Is this indictment about the election…….or future elections.

We have much different views of fair and balanced. And it doesn’t always agree with my agenda preference. So my “agenda” has to be laid to the side to truly experience fair and balanced.

You can’t tip the scales and scream fair to make it fair.

If the man is guilty, do it. As with all crime.

One thing I don't get, a man that was cheating on THIRD WIFE WITH A PORN STAR is where some "Christians" want to plant their flag?
Even though not illegal, it's odd to me when there are other choices on the Rep side to choose from.
I have never understood how the evangelical was in lockstep with him, who undoubtedly was the most "un-Christ like" candidate since Bill Clinton.
That's why when I here about ethics and morals from them, they get an eye-roll.
JMO.....no offense is meant.

My DawgFriend,
You are so politically astute!! These people hate capitalism.. I myself see the deep state cracking as I write this.. President Trump will destroy the deep state and the establishment repubs. I can't wait!!!

The indictment will help Trump secure the nomination of the Donald Trump cult f/k/a the Republican Party.

It will insure that Trump gets trounced in the general.

The only way that Biden wins a second term is to run against Trump. Anyone else will smoke Biden. Ole Joe can't believe his good fortune (kinda like Warnock who only won because he was running against Walker)

Biden does not need to be re-elected, can you MAGA cultists please vote for someone else in the primary

Some of "these people" love capitalism AND can't stand trump......js
Going to Walmart later....will see if there are some trump super hero trading cards.....smh

Valid point. I can't speak for anyone else, just myself. I voted for Trump as a last resort. If it comes down to Trump or Biden again, I'll vote for Trump.

I am quite sure there were a lot of people just like you. I didn't want either one, so sat 2020 out.
It's a shame a country as great as this one had to (or not) choose between those two.

I'm almost 66 and have seen some "slimy" political candidates in my life. The times we are living in today are by far the worst. The Dems are leading us down a dangerous path and as bad as things are, I think they will get much worse in the next 2 1/2 years We have not hit bottom yet

You'd better do your part then. Since you claim to be a Reagan conservative, I hope you and @mitchelldawg and your ilk will actually do something about it, rather than just bitch about Trump all day.
Trust me, I will vote in the Pub primary for whoever has the best chance to beat Trump.

Just like the Senate race last year, I begged everyone I knew(and made several posts) to vote for Gary Black in the Pub primary over Herschel. Black beats Warnock by over 100,000 votes.

It will be the same situation in 2024 if Trump gets the nomination, the Dems will win an election they should lose.

But Trump cannot be our next President.

Ole Joe (dementia riden or senile),has some indictments headed his way as well. Many things could change before our country has another presidential election.

Great post. Not really debatable points. What you just explained is the fall of man.

God created man in His image. But not with His knowledge. Man was created to worship Him. That is our primary purpose. But He gave man freedom to choose.

But sin ruined that perfect relationship as man chose selfishly. So man was removed from paradise and had to work for every meal. Had to work to survive.

Every single man and woman born on this earth since Adam and Eve was born of sinful nature. Man inherently chooses personal indulgence over obedience to God.

So in the comparison of voting for leaders, we are voting on broken men. There is no perfection in my life, nor others.

My choice for president will be the one who aligns, at least philosophically (that is all I can hold a man to), and publicly (which is where laws and our nations moral and cultural soul is directed), with the following:

And this is based on my inability to hold others to my convictions as a Christian.

1) A candidate who is not afraid to promote laws and norms that align with Biblical truth.
2) A candidate that attempts to run our economic system as it was created to run.
3) A candidate who isn’t grasping at groups to gain favor, but promotes our country to gain favor.
4) Ideally, a candidate that has done what our economic system does, a person who has worked and led others in business and understands it. Not a candidate who has been nothing more than a candidate and made a living being a candidate. The disconnection creates hardship for the working citizen.
5) A candidate that places our citizens first and global initiatives second, then leading the world as an exemplary example of a strong country.
6) A candidate that understands our role as a superpower is not in our willingness to achieve permission to follow, but in leading strongly.
7) A candidate that promotes culturally and legally, the sanctity of life as God created.

A man’s sins…… for me to judge him there, is arrogance. A man who sins can be delivered by the Grace of God. That is a beautiful thing. A man who promotes his sin or sin of others to gain favor from voters is demonic.

A candidate cannot tell God He is wrong. A candidate must, for his citizens, at the least promote Biblical truth.

We are in such a cultural and legal quagmire now because we cater to every desire of man to gain favor. I find that vulgar.

Trumps sins are between Him and God. He doesn’t promote them as normal or honorable. A man can sin without promotion of sin. He has never said his sins or the sin itself is OK.

That is how I can vote for a man like Trump. He doesn’t give our country away.

That is my opinion.

Here’s where we disagree. I’m fine with a candidate that is Christian, but I am absolutely not fine with a candidate that tries to promote laws that align with his/her faith. I want absolutely nothing to do with laws guided by Christian doctrine. The US never has been a Christian nation of government nor should it ever be. The idea of us being guided by the Bible for our laws is just as bad as a nation choosing to follow Sharia Law.

Excepting the laws of Christianity teach love, forgiveness and compassion. Shariah law treats women as animals or cheap property. They throw homosexuals off buildings, burn people alive and film it for the west to see. Not a very good comparison.
